Third Isaiah spells out to the people how following God’s ways – denouncing oppression, speaking the truth, feeding the hungry, caring for the suffering, and worshipping God – will result in a wonderful quality of life.
“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen”. In our worship today let us seek ways to deepen and strengthen our faith and learn to live in hope, even when our vision is obscured.
Introduction and Call to Worship
We live in one of the richest communities in the country (and world!) and we should always give thanks to God for the blessings we have received and pray earnestly that we may rely upon God and not on our own self-sufficiency.
